Illustrated Wall - Insectia - 2009

Trawling through the many projects I have done and came across these.
Done way back in 2009. Insectia began on paper and made it's way on to my bedroom wall.
Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you, which are also on my website.

Sadly the wall you see below no longer exists.
A huge thanks to Komal Ghai for taking these pictures, which I will always have to remind me of this project.
It was a lot of fun to do.

TRAUM Set design and Illustration Photos

I recently collaborated with the amazing band HEJIRA on their night - TRAUM at The Servant's Jazz Quarters. 
If you missed it you missed out!


Here's some photos of the work I did. I took some time to draw in response to Hejira's music and created a stage set as well as some badges for them to wear on the night. 
I also made the butterfly headpiece Rahel so wonderfully wore on the night!

Bigger, better, badder!!

Flower props for a short film

Here are a couple of flower arrangements I created for a short film I worked on recently. 
The film Lo Siento is about the loss and the mourning process and depicts a Mexican family mourning the death of a young mother, daughter and wife.
The film is a short piece directed by Nathan Hennenfent and the set was designed by Diane Weber-Seban; both 
currently finishing their masters in filmmaking at the London Film School.
I created a couple of flower arrangements for a shrine in the centre of the Mexican-American household.
