Although the article was a bit sad (it revealed it may close in a year if the owner can not find someone to take it over), it is also wonderful and inspiring to see such creativity on the walls of a what sounds like a truly historical building.
Taken over by a young couple in love, who got married and decided to decorate the bedrooms, Hôtel du Parc is a property filled with beautiful hand painted Art Nouveau designs dating back to the First World War.
Below are a couple of rooms, which I absolutlely love.
Perhaps inspired by one of my favourite artists; the prolific Art Nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha. The designs were hand painted by Antoine Barateaud and remain in the building to this day.
Absolutely gorgeous.
I want to go there so bad. I hope someone can save it. :( xx
ReplyDeleteI know. Such a great place! x
DeleteI'm also totally entranced by these images, but I'm having no success in finding the hotel's website or even their location. Does anybody know how to find them?
