Arale Records Door 2 of 2

Finally sharing the photos of the finished studio door I did for Arale Records way back in April of last year!

The balance between humans (and their technology) with nature and the use of technology to live either harmoniously or destructively and how the responsibility with human's ability to reason, logic and create. 

The wonderfully talented Layla Rutherford of Arale Records invited me to customise her studio door. 

Taking inspiration from the Arale concept and values, I created a digital print and layered it with a hand drawn illustration of a cast of human lungs.

This special place beside the river houses some amazing pieces from the William Morris collection. 

Sadly it only opens Thursday and Saturday 2-5pm so plan ahead!

2013 Christmas Cards

This year was the year of the robin.
The robin in repeat.

After finding the right materials, printer and trying a few different design ideas I think I have found something worth sharing with you.

Fingers crossed 2014 is the year of selling cards online and hopefully in stores.
I'll keep you posted on how this goes!

I have fallen in love with these amazing prints and colours, while researching frogs, toads and birds.

New Year. New Project - JUMP + FLY

Here's some inspiration for the project. 

For this project I will be using embroidery alongside hand drawn illustration to create some one-off framed artwork. Stay tuned for more pictures of developing work coming soon!
