Arale Records Door 2 of 2

Finally sharing the photos of the finished studio door I did for Arale Records way back in April of last year!

The balance between humans (and their technology) with nature and the use of technology to live either harmoniously or destructively and how the responsibility with human's ability to reason, logic and create. 

The wonderfully talented Layla Rutherford of Arale Records invited me to customise her studio door. 

Taking inspiration from the Arale concept and values, I created a digital print and layered it with a hand drawn illustration of a cast of human lungs.

Guac and Roll Illustration

2013 Christmas Cards

This year was the year of the robin.
The robin in repeat.

After finding the right materials, printer and trying a few different design ideas I think I have found something worth sharing with you.

Fingers crossed 2014 is the year of selling cards online and hopefully in stores.
I'll keep you posted on how this goes!

Urban Outfitters Camden Tables

Urban Outfitters Camden

I got the chance to customise a table top along with some other artists: Emma Hindhaugh, Bob Motown, Paul McGeachy & Rob Whoriskey for a new Urban Outfitters store opening in Camden next week.

Following on from my latest project JUMP + FLY, I designed a table top of British birds and decided to leave out the Frogs. 

Here's some photos of the work in progress. 

I had lots of fun sizing up some illustrations I have been creating for JUMP + FLY and the guys at Chrome & Black were able to recommend the Molotow marker to cover space much faster.

... et voilà. The finished piece before it gets made into a proper table.

Illustrated Wall - Insectia - 2009

Trawling through the many projects I have done and came across these.
Done way back in 2009. Insectia began on paper and made it's way on to my bedroom wall.
Here are some pictures I wanted to share with you, which are also on my website.

Sadly the wall you see below no longer exists.
A huge thanks to Komal Ghai for taking these pictures, which I will always have to remind me of this project.
It was a lot of fun to do.
